Approved TutorsSince the 1st January 2006, RoSPA have introduced a new tutor qualification called the Approved Tutor.Approved Tutor is a recognised qualification to enable the West Midlands Group to continue training more drivers to become RoSPA advanced drivers. If you want to go further with your training there are more opportunities. You can train and become an Advanced Tutor. We need these qualifications to maintain a uniform training schedule within the Groups and to standardize training nationally, so that all tutors can be included for insurance purposes, and the local group continues to grow. The West Midland Group has been accepted by RoSPA to train and test Approved Tutors. This qualification will mean the member can train group associates for the RoSPA advanced driving test, just as your Tutor trained you.
